Things to Love from the New BlitzKeep for iOS and Android

Things to Love from the New BlitzKeep for iOS and Android

Several days ago, Flint Games released their new version of BlitzKeep. When I read the log changes shared by Eli, the master mind behind BlitzKeep, I realized that I should probably rewrite the whole article instead of just update them. The changes that were made by Flint Games team really looked as if the game was re-created from scratch. You can check their new trailer for the latest version.

The core of BlitzKeep is still the same, combining RPG along with pinball. The story idea is also still the same, to reclaim the homeland that have been taken away by devious mage. You will still be choosing gliding direction for the hero, then he will glide along the path. The hero won’t be stopping until they arrive in a spotlight or moving into the next room.

These stuffs however, is the only thing that they kept. There are tons of changes that brought by the team, from the first version until this version, BlitzKeep 1.5.

Transfer window period is starting to unveil its curtain, and this period only means for me and I believe most football fan out there, to read the football news everyday. Well, this couldn't be help since the transfer can be dealt any time during the office hour.

That also means that any football fans should be prepared for the best or the worst scenarios; I'm talking about club's targeted players. It can be that your team will get the players and the worst, your rival gets the player. Afterwards, the hottest players in this transfer market period normally would be publicly doing some fancy kick-up skills in front of the fans.

That was the original ideas of Super Rock Games, the developer behind Olio. Even so, Super Rock Games doesn't want to limit the true meaning of doing kick-up to just players presentation. They want to relate the fun and the excitement of doing kick-up to as many football fans as possible. There when KickUp King born into this world.

Music games always save some spots for my weekend. As a musician and a gamer, I can't help but love games that combine great gameplay with great music. However, rhythm game is an exception, all you need for a good rhythm game is not the gameplay, all you need is the music.

That's the reason why I completely lost myself with the latest game from Ferver Studios, called VRM or Viking Remix Madness. The game is completely simple. It's as simple as you only need to remember three things, tap, swipe, and triple tap. If you've remembered this, you're done with the rule of the game.

Hardboiled - A Fallout-ish Game that's so Hard, iOS Game Review

Hardboiled - A Fallout-ish Game that's so Hard, iOS Game Review

Yep, the title is no kidding. The latest game from Roman Spiryagin of Game Dev Team really is hard. Even the easiest level is no kidding. However, as Roman said, this is one of their main feature. As a matter of fact, most iOS games lately have been 'too kind' to the players. The level design is too tolerable, it's not even challenging for many hardcore gamers.

This is understandable since most developers want to reach as many players as possible, even if that means reducing their difficulty. None of this matter for Roman though, it seems as if game difficulty is none of his concern. His latest game, Hardboiled, clearly shows that a game should be challenging enough, even the easiest level will keep you grind your teeth.

Despite, the difficulty, Hardboiled itself is a satisfying game. Inspired from Fallout 1 & 2, you will get two gameplay at the same time, without any cutscenes. The first gameplay is free roaming world exploration. You can walk anywhere throughout the map, interacting with the NPC, talking with some survivors there.

The second gameplay is when you decide or asked to fight against enemy. Once, you choose to fight, you'll be automatically entering this second gameplay. It's automatically become a turn-based strategy genre like X-COM and that kind of game.
